Layout Publishing
Layout publishing allows you to include multiple states of the same model. It allows a finer-grain control of what is visible and when, so you can curate exactly how your model is experienced.
Revit
In Revit, used the dropdown arrow and select the Publish Multiple button.
You can then check the views you want to be included in the export. Drag the items to change the order they will appear on device.
Rhino
In Rhino, use the LayerStateManager to curate your views.
Then, use the -Twinbuild command with the hyphen included, and select the LayerStates option.
Web
Once you’ve published a model that includes layer states, a dropdown will appear that has allows you to switch between the layouts in your model. The first view (in Revit) or layer state (in Rhino) will be the one that loads in first.
When expanded, you can select a layout to view:
This button is not visible for published models that do not contain more than one layout (including drag and dropped models).
HoloLens
When you have published multiple layouts, you’ll be able to step through the layouts using the Next and Previous buttons. Note that when you view a model on HoloLens that does not contain any layouts, the layers panel will appear as normal.
